I had KW V2 coilovers on my last Octavia VRS and my 04 Fabia VRS had the Eibach springs and damper combo, so I've had a couple of combinations before. The -35mm and standard shock argument seems to go on forever in the forums but I reckon you're about on the limit for the shocks at that height.

The car was used like this for well over 100,000km. Zero issues (apart from those mentioned in the TEIN video ). Because of the issues mentioned in the TEIN video, we decided to swap them out for a set of H&R lowering springs which are only 35mm lower than stock. Swapping from the TEIN lowering springs to the H&R raised the car by around 25mm.

Storm springs promises 35mm lower in front and about 25mm lower in the rear ~ Front: 1.38 inch Rear: 0.98 inch I do like the low look of the Elantra GT but wanted AWD. Because the car will lower a little further 5mm after 2/3000 miles And become approximately 35mm Which if it is already 35mm it will become 40mm a little too low, Just my opinion here But it's all down to personal preference. 63 posts · Joined 2014. #1 · May 10, 2014. Ive just had H&R 35mm lowering springs fitted to my A1 BE 2.0TDI. I had these fitted at Awesome GTI took about an hour. Approx cost breakdown as follows: Springs £130. Fitting and alignment £180. Spacers & bolts £100. Total £410 approx.

Remove outer lower control arm bolt with 17mm socket. Slowly lower the jack to drop the LCA. Remove jack after LCA is fully disengaged from the knuckle/brake assembly. Make note of how the lower spring mounting gasket is installed to the LCA. There are (2) tabs/nipples that line up and stick out through the bottom of the LCA.
